Meet Sterling

Hi! My name is Sterling and I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina. I have been providing therapy for over 4 years for folks experiencing a variety of trauma and stress based symptoms including: dissociation, intrusive traumatic images and memories, compulsive behaviors, attachment wounds, and overall disconnection and overwhelm with body sensations.

I have been formally trained in Brainspotting, Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatics, Ego-states, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies. I am a certified Brainspotting practitioner and have an affinity for providing therapy and consultation for folks who are struggling with trauma and stress based symptoms.

I grew up in a rural part of North Carolina and received my formal education through the University of North Carolina Greensboro and North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

I’d love for you to get in touch if you’re thinking about working with a therapist who uses an integrative approach to help you get the best treatment possible.
